The Dividend Report - December 2023
12/11/2023
There are several strategies when it comes to dividend investing. A compelling approach is low volatility and high dividend yield. Talking about sleeping well at night, this sounds like a dream. The strategy outperformed the broad market (to 2019) by a healthy margin. The S&P 500 Low Vol High Div (LVHD) came out of the gate with gusto this year, but it has been under duress. It comes down to hard sense, and the yield has surged to 5.37% in the process. Monitoring the LVHD We are watching this Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) and its components, which means closely watching Energy (XLE), Utilities (XLU), and Real Estate (XLRE). These sectors have not been barnburners. To read full report contact your account representative or email Info@wstreet.com.
