ALL ABOUT THE FED THIS WEEK

It’s all about the Federal Reserve and interest rates this week.  There is a major push for Powell & Co to take a victory lap, which puts me a little on edge.

I have been in the soft-landing camp but worried the bandwagon is filling up too fast.

Bonds continue to be the key proxy to watch.  Note, the ten-year yield bounced to 4.28% from 4.10% on Thursday.

Inflation under three percent and above two percent has historically been a sweet spot for stocks.

Friday’s session was encouraging heading into the weekend.  But look for more angst this morning ahead of the CPI report and the FOMC decision.
